I’m New!

Welcome!

Sunday Schedule

During the summer months (Memorial Day – Labor Day), our worship service begins at 9:30 am.

What can I expect on my first visit

From the moment you enter the building, our greeter’s will be poised and ready to give directions or answer any questions you may have. If you have children, you’ll want to take advantage of our safe and secure children’s services designed just for them.

As you enter the worship center, our ushers will welcome you, hand you our information-filled weekly bulletin and direct you to your seat. Then, sit back, relax, and enjoy the service.

Where do I take my children during worship?

Bethel Church loves children and families. We provide a nursery for infants and toddlers through 2 years old. You are also welcome to bring your children to worship with you. If your children are restless during worship, you can bring them to The Gathering Place just outside the Worship Center. You will still be able to hear and see the worship time, but we won’t hear your children.

Worship

When you walk into the service you will experience the power of God’s presence. Led by a variety of volunteer worship leaders and musicians, our worship time is a blend of contemporary and traditional worship songs. We use various elements for worship (drama, liturgy, video, testimonies) as appropriate for the message of the day.

Offering

Each week, we receive an offering for our General Fund. From this Fund, we pay day-to-day bills such as salaries, utilities and mortgage payments. We also support most of our ministries through this Fund and the ministry of our denomination. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives Bethel Church and the Christian Reformed denomination the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.

Roughly every other week, we also receive a second offering. Through the second offerings, we support missionaries, special projects of our congregation,Community Christian School, the Life Choices Center and other special needs as they arise.

Message

You will be taught from God’s Word in a compelling and clear way on a variety of different topics that speak to today’s culture. We focus on how to apply Christ’s teachings to our lives, so we can experience God’s incredible purpose each and everyday.

Communion

The second Sunday of every month, we celebrate communion together. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer – as long they’ve made the decision to follow Jesus Christ and have publicly professed that faith before a Christian congregation. The juice and bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.
